ABOUT GLEN
Glen believes that vitality and the chance to flourish happens when it’s safe enough to honestly be yourself. For over 15 years, Glen has served in Hamilton’s community and social services field, working alongside people living through trauma, substance use and addictions, poverty, mental health challenges, and criminality. He holds a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University and an Honours Bachelor of Music from McMaster University. He considers it a privilege to accompany people through their pain, coping, self-discovery, healing, transformation, and joy.
Outside of work, Glen enjoys spending time with family, making music, cooking, playing sports, a good cup of tea, writing, and celebrating with friends.
AREAS OF CARE
Glen's areas of care include trauma, abuse, violence, PTSD and C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, dissociation, substance use and addictions, shame, anger, grief, relationships, sexual and gender identity, spiritual abuse, and the intersection of spirituality and psychology. He seeks to embody a clinical stance that is compassionate, curious, anti-oppressive, and non-pathological. His approach uses a somatic, trauma-informed, attachment-based framework, integrating evidence-based experiential and relational models like AEDP, EFT, IFS, Compassionate Inquiry, and Narrative Therapy. He works with individuals and couples.
